12th के बाद सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही होता है—ITI करें या Degree?
लेकिन सच कहें तो confusion options की वजह से नहीं होता… बल्कि clarity की कमी की वजह से होता है।

अक्सर हम दूसरों को देखकर decisions लेते हैं— कोई ITI कर रहा है, तो हमें वही सही लगता है… कोई Degree कर रहा है, तो हम भी उसी direction में चल पड़ते हैं… और इसी process में हम ये भूल जाते हैं कि हमें खुद क्या चाहिए।

अगर आपका goal clear नहीं है, तो ITI हो या Degree—confusion और struggle दोनों जगह मिलेगा।

ITI क्या है? (Industrial Training Institute)

ITI यानी Industrial Training Institute, एक skill-based training system है जो students को कम समय में job-ready बनाता है।

ITI की खास बातें:

• Duration: 6 महीने से 2 साल
• Focus: 70–80% practical training
• Learning: Workshop, tools, machines के साथ hands-on experience
• Eligibility: 8th, 10th या 12th के बाद

Degree क्या है?

Degree courses जैसे B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech उन students के लिए होते हैं जो किसी subject को deeply समझना चाहते हैं और future में higher-level roles पाना चाहते हैं।

• Focus: Theoretical + practical knowledge

ITI vs Degree – सीधा मुकाबला

अब सबसे जरूरी सवाल—कौन बेहतर है?
Answer: दोनों सही हैं, बस आपके goal पर depend करता है।

POINT 1 Job Speed: ITI मे आप 6 महीने से 2 साल का समय लगाकर ही job शुरू कर सकते हैं, जबकि Degree में 3 से 4 साल का समय लगता है और उसके बाद आप जॉब स्टार्ट कर सकते हैं।

POINT 2 Job Role: ITI करने के बाद technician, operator या field worker बनते हैं, वहीं Degree के बाद engineer, Supervisor या manager जैसे roles मिलते हैं।

POINT 3 Govt Jobs: Govt jobs में ITI और Degree वालों के options अलग होते हैं। ITI Technical वालों को Indian Railways, ISRO, DRDO में Technician जैसी skill-based jobs मिलती हैं, जबकि ITI Non-Technical वाले MTS, GD, India Post और Defence sector में Tradesman जैसी skilled based जॉब्स कर सकते हैं। 

Degree में BA, BCom, BSc वाले mainly UPSC, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, SSC CGL जैसे non-technical exams देते हैं, जबकि B.Tech/BE वालों के लिए GATE के through PSU, ISRO, DRDO में Engineer level की technical jobs होती हैं। 

POINT 4 Investment: ITI कम समय और कम फीस में complete हो जाता है, जबकि Degree में ज्यादा time और money invest करना पड़ता है—but long-term returns भी ज्यादा मिलते हैं।

POINT 5 Career Growth: ITI में शुरुआत जल्दी होती है लेकिन growth experience पर depend करती है, जबकि Degree में शुरुआत थोड़ी late होती है लेकिन growth और promotion के chances ज्यादा होते हैं।

इसलिए decision लेने से पहले ये समझना जरूरी है कि आपको जल्दी job चाहिए या future में बड़ा position और growth—क्योंकि दोनों रास्ते सही हैं, बस direction अलग है।

आपके लिए सही क्या है?

अब सबसे important सवाल—आपको क्या चुनना चाहिए?

Tip 1: अगर आपको technical काम पसंद है लेकिन budget कम है, तो पहले ITI करें और job के साथ-साथ बाद में Distance या Regular Degree पूरी करें—ये एक smart hybrid approach है।

Tip 2: हमेशा याद रखें, आज के time में companies सिर्फ degree नहीं, बल्कि “real skills” देखती हैं—जितनी strong आपकी skill होगी, उतनी strong आपकी earning होगी।

Tip 3: Market demand को समझें—Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic जैसे trades की demand हमेशा stable रहती है और future में भी कम नहीं होगी।

Tip 4: खुद का interest जरूर check करें—दूसरों को देखकर decision लेने के बजाय ये समझें कि आपको practical field पसंद है या theoretical learning।

Tip 5: Long-term सोचें—आज जो decision आप ले रहे हैं, वो आने वाले 5–10 साल के career को shape करेगा, इसलिए जल्दबाजी में नहीं, समझदारी से choose करें।

दोस्तों याद रखिए—success का रास्ता ITI या Degree से नहीं, बल्कि आपकी मेहनत, consistency और सही direction से तय होता है।
